Aeris operates a 24×7 production environment and is looking to expand its support capabilities with alternating workweeks of three 12-hour shifts and four 12-hour shifts.

The Network Engineer will work with employees, managers, customers, and vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of the Aeris network, support systems and infrastructure. Observation of all company security, safety, code of ethics and other compliance policies will also be required of the Network Engineer.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Handle customer trouble tickets and service requests within customer SLAs via phone and e-mail.
• Respond to and troubleshoot customer issues, raise bugs and follow issues to closure.
• Complete analysis to identify and resolve equipment and customer trouble. Actively communicate with others to develop and execute corrective action plans.
• Support of the Aeris production and corporate networks. This support involves the design, implementation troubleshooting, and monitoring of all routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls in both the data center and WAN environment.
• Develop, build, configure and deploy network monitoring and control systems.
• Daily monitoring of all customer KPIs, follow up with corrective and preventative action.
• Create and maintain proper documentation.
• Alarm monitoring of the Aeris network, responding to trouble indications and customer trouble reports. Review network data and performance documentation to ensure the Aeris network is operating properly and as designed.
• Interface with network systems engineers, hardware/software engineering, marketing and management.

Qualifications (key skills, education and experience)

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge with Sun Server enviroment.
• Experience supporting Windows and UNIX products systems/applications on networking technologies
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, GRE, IPSec, POS, VRRP, HSRP, and SNMP protocols.
• The ability to multi-task, work under pressure and with short due dates.
• Strong interpersonal skills; proprietorship for the job, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
• Routinely demonstrates sound levels of judgment and professionalism.

A Senior Sales Executive must have a proven track record in selling complex solution sales involving multiple stakeholders. This position’s primary objective is selling the Aeris solution and service to enterprise accounts with projections in the six and seven figures. The role is responsible for qualifying leads from marketing and the inside sales team, presenting the Aeris value and solution face-to-face, and successfully bringing the account through to commercial deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed quarterly quota objectives consisting of new business bookings and account growth
• Prospecting and qualifying outbound and inbound leads
• Calling on decision-makers of enterprise size business to present the Aeris value proposition and solution
• Manage a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders
• Manage and grow both new and existing accounts with the support of sales engineering and account managers
• Track progress and KPI’s in our CRM to ensure clear and objective measurement of cycle time and results
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Required skills and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree
• A strong background selling technical solutions to high level executive decision makers with a history of successful quota and/or sales objective attainment
• Minimum 3-5 years of B2B outside sales experience in complex solution sales with track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Recent experience in consultative sales techniques, and account planning including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, and sales opportunity development
• Self-starter comfortable working in a start-up environment
• Experience selling solution sales (SAAS or PAAS) prior, telecom or m2m a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to cold call.
• Ability to quickly understand value propositions and sell the value of a unique service

Job Description

The Senior IP Network Engineer is the technical leader for all IP and mobile IP data transport, network design, solution deployment and integration. This position is at the heart of Aeris’s proprietary network and is a critical role for our cutting-edge technology platform. Operating at a Tier-II/III level and supporting Tier-II customer operations, the Senior IP Network Engineer designs and operates core routing and switching environments, mobile IP session management and data transport from remote devices to host applications.  In addition to the customer-facing production environment, the IP Network Engineer also supports corporate LAN/WAN environments for internal use.

• Build and operate critical elements within the Aeris mobile IP packet core.
