Aeris Ranks on the M2M 100 for Fifth Consecutive Year Further Validating its Technology and Industry Leadership

San Jose, Calif. - December 3, 2008 - Aeris® Communications, the leading wireless communications service provider dedicated exclusively to the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and telematics marketplace across North America, announced that M2M magazine named Aeris as one of the top 100 M2M companies for 2009 in the magazine's 2009 M2M 100 list. The annual M2M 100 highlights the leading-edge and most influential M2M technology providers impacting and shaping the industry.

This is M2M magazine's fifth year publishing the M2M 100; Aeris is one of only 35 companies making the list since its inauguration in 2004. The 2009 M2M 100 provides evidence that the M2M marketplace is beginning to stabilize and thrive in its environment. This year 87 companies remained on the list from the previous year, up from 79 companies in 2008.

Some of the criteria for selection include strength and number of customer references; establishment in the market; growth potential; and active involvement in and support for the M2M community.
