What advice would you give someone considering an Aeris internship?

My advice to someone considering an internship at Aeris is to go for it and be 100% committed! This internship provides you with a great feel for how a technology company operates, it is a great first start in the professional world, and you have the opportunity to complete intricate and meaningful projects that will help the company in the future. Also, be open to trying lots of things. If there is a project you want to be a part of, try it out. If it does not work out, that’s completely fine, just keep trying things!

What is your most unforgettable memory at Aeris?

My most unforgettable memory at Aeris is all the times I got to present my work to professionals. This is my first time having the opportunity to be in a work environment where I work closely with a manager throughout the summer, then present my work to professionals. It is unforgettable because you get to present your work that you’ve been doing all summer, and, to me, it feels so much more meaningful than anything I’ve done in school yet.

What is your favorite part about working at Aeris?

My favorite part about working at Aeris is the work environment. The other team members who make up Aeris are incredibly kind, passionate about what they do, and are very open to helping interns. It really makes work so much more enjoyable when the people you work with are as great as the Aeris community.

What made you choose Aeris?

I chose Aeris because I had a feeling it would provide me with an incredible learning opportunity. It turns out, it really did! The skills I’ve learned working at Aeris as an intern will be incredibly transferable to anything other tech related internship or job I take in the future. Even during the interview process, I could tell that Aeris was a company I wanted to work at because their values intertwined with mine, and I had the feeling I would fit in well with the Aeris team. Plus, they are doing some amazing things with IoT, and I can’t wait to see where they take IoT in the future!
