Aeris Communications Hires Michelle Avary as Vice President, Planning and Business Development for Automotive

Santa Clara, CA, April 16, 2014 – Aeris Communications, the Made for Machines™ technology and service provider, today announced the addition of Michelle Avary as the Vice President, Planning and Business Development – Automotive. Avary brings more than 15 years of experience to the role, serving most recently as the Director, Technology Strategy for Harman International. Previously, she worked for Toyota for more than a decade where she led and developed strategies for its telematics products and services.

Aeris has experienced tremendous growth within the automotive sector in the past year. It launched three automotive OEM programs and added over 1 million devices on its network. Furthermore, it built out its GSM and LTE technologies in addition to its existing CDMA footprint, and signed agreements that allow Aeris to deliver services globally in 190 countries through multiple carrier partners.

Avary will serve as a key member of the leadership team where she will be responsible for Aeris’ product planning and business development in the automotive sector.
