Asia Pacific is one of the most important regions for the future of connected mobility and secure IoT. Automotive OEMs and mobile operators across APAC are moving fast to deliver software defined vehicles and next generation digital services, and the expectations for security, intelligence and reliability have never been higher. Aeris is investing significantly in the region to meet this demand and to support customers with solutions designed for global scale.

Welcoming Seán Gowran to drive regional growth

To drive its expanded strategy for growth in Asia, Aeris is delighted to have appointed Seán Gowran as Vice President of Sales for APAC. Seán brings an impressive background of more than twenty years of senior leadership experience across Asia Pacific, North America, and Europe. He previously served in senior leadership roles at Sinch and Ericsson covering countries across Northeast Asia, Greater China, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific. His background in mobile networks, enterprise growth and APAC market development will strengthen Aeris relationships with operators, automotive OEMs, and strategic partners.

“APAC is experiencing a new wave of innovation where secure connectivity and customer experience will determine who leads. I am excited to join Aeris to drive significant growth with partners and customers over the coming years”

Aeris was proud to return as a Diamond Sponsor of the Bridge Alliance CXO Forum 2025 on November 17 in Singapore with Sean Gowran at the helm for Asia.

The event is one of the most influential gatherings of C-suite leaders from Bridge Alliance member operators and global enterprise customers. Participants come to exchange ideas, share emerging best practices, and examine how connectivity and cybersecurity will reshape industries across APAC.

Strengthening our partnership with Bridge Alliance

Aeris and Bridge Alliance have a long-standing partnership focused on providing APAC customers with trusted, scalable IoT services. Through this partnership, Aeris and Bridge Alliance member operators jointly offer the Aeris IoT Accelerator Platform and Aeris IoT Watchtower™. Together they help enterprises simplify cross border connectivity, gain unified visibility across diverse networks, and strengthen their cybersecurity posture at the device and network levels. This combination is increasingly important in APAC where multinational automotive and industrial programs must operate securely across countries and operators.

At this year’s CXO Forum, Aeris highlighted new customer use cases that show how APAC operators can deliver more secure and differentiated connectivity offerings for global OEMs. Jonathan Connet, Chief Product Officer, delivered a presentation on the future of secure global IoT and then joined a panel discussion with industry leaders on advancing zero trust principles in connected mobility.

As an added collaboration with Bridge Alliance, Aeris will have its own half-day event at the end of the Bridge Alliance Forum, dedicated to IoT Accelerator and Bridge Alliance member organizations. Aeris has an excellent opportunity to articulate its strategic approach for Asia alongside its partners, establishing a foundation for growth initiatives planned for 2026 and subsequent years.

Leading the next chapter of automotive innovation in APAC

Aeris has established itself as a leader in connected vehicle programs throughout Asia Pacific. The Aeris IoT Accelerator Platform gives OEMs a single environment to manage global eSIM connectivity, monitor performance and orchestrate large scale deployments. Aeris IoT Watchtower adds continuous threat visibility and automated policy enforcement, allowing OEMs to strengthen cybersecurity without adding complexity to existing systems. This combination directly supports the rapid growth of software-defined vehicles in APAC where automotive companies are shifting toward new revenue models that depend on secure connectivity.
