Automate connectivity with Aeris SGP.32 eSIM Orchestrator
Use policies and events to automate which local profile a device holds, when it downloads, what it’s permitted to do and what happens when something fails.
Growth is good. But as your IoT program expands across more devices, markets and operators, the operational complexity grows with it. Every new market adds another set of profiles, connectivity requirements and lifecycle decisions to manage.
The same processes that worked when your deployment was smaller can become difficult to sustain at global scale:
Different markets may require different operator profiles or local connectivity, and those requirements can change over time.
Devices can remain in service for years while locations, commercial terms and connectivity requirements evolve.
Multiple SIM or device variants can increase manufacturing, inventory and supply-chain complexity.
Coordinating profile downloads, activations and connectivity changes one device at a time becomes increasingly difficult as fleets grow into the thousands or millions.
Expanding your IoT footprint and feature sets often means expanding the operational burden along with it.
Complexity doesn’t have to grow as your device fleet expands in number, footprint or lifespan. The next-generation Aeris eSIM Orchestrator (formerly eSIM Hub) adds SGP.32 remote eSIM management, Aeris Single SKU eSIM and Aeris eIM as a Service (eIMaaS) to the Aeris IoT Accelerator global connectivity management platform.
Together, these capabilities give you a simpler, more flexible way to manage connectivity across markets, operators and device fleets.
With Aeris eSIM Orchestrator, you can:
Automate profile selection and lifecycle actions with policies and events that govern downloads, permissions and what happens when something fails.
Connect once to a community of 30 operators with pre-integrated support across SGP.02, SGP.22 and SGP.32.
Choose your eIM model with fully managed Aeris eIMaaS for turnkey SGP.32 profile switching on Aeris IoT Accelerator, or bring your own eIM of choice.
Build and ship one device variant globally with Aeris Single SKU eSIM, then assign the right local profile after deployment.
Now you can let imagination and innovation, not operational limitations, set the pace for your IoT business growth.
Aeris brings next-generation eSIM orchestration to a connectivity platform already operating at global scale.

Our scale and eSIM maturity have earned recognition from Frost & Sullivan, which named Aeris a Global Competitive Strategy Leader for IoT connectivity management in 2025 and 2026, and Counterpoint Research, which named Aeris an industry leader in eSIM orchestration in 2026.
eSIM service innovation
Our foundation supports three connected eSIM capabilities designed to put SGP.32 to work across real-world global deployments:
Use policies and events to automate which local profile a device holds, when it downloads, what it’s permitted to do and what happens when something fails.
Simplify manufacturing and inventory with a common eSIM configuration across supported markets. Choose and activate the appropriate local profile after deployment, not on the production line.
Use Aeris eIMaaS, a fully managed eSIM IoT remote Manager integrated directly into Aeris IoT Accelerator for turnkey SGP.32 profile switching, or bring your own eIM of choice.
Aeris eSIM Orchestrator, built on Aeris IoT Accelerator, replaces a patchwork of market-by-market processes with one consistent way to manage eSIM across your fleet. As devices move, requirements change and new markets come online, your eSIM operations can adapt with them.
One connection to Aeris IoT Accelerator gives you access to a community of 30 operators with pre-integrated support across SGP.02, SGP.22 and SGP.32.
Define rules and events for profile selection, downloads, permissions and responses when conditions change or something fails.
Aeris eSIM Orchestrator applies those policies across the fleet, selecting local profiles and coordinating lifecycle actions as device, market and operator conditions change.
Control profiles and connectivity policies across markets and operators through one global platform instead of managing each deployment separately.
Aeris IoT Accelerator brings connectivity, orchestration, security and control together in one platform, reducing operational overhead as you scale.
Aeris eSIM Orchestrator gives you more freedom to grow your IoT business without letting connectivity complexity determine where, how fast or how boldly you can expand.
Pursue opportunities across more countries and operator networks without creating a new connectivity model for every market.
Give new products, services and business models room to evolve without letting connectivity complexity narrow what you can pursue.
Make connectivity decisions closer to deployment so you can move from production to market without unnecessary delays.
Change connectivity as markets, operators and business requirements shift without locking decisions in years before they’re needed.
Support a larger, more distributed device fleet without requiring manual connectivity work to increase at the same pace.
Enable intelligent and autonomous vehicles, machines and infrastructure with connectivity that adapts as they move and evolve.
Aeris eSIM Orchestrator supports OEMs, enterprises and mobile network operators that need to manage connected devices across multiple markets and networks.
Manufacture once, localize after deployment
Global OEMs can face separate device variants, SIM inventories and connectivity requirements for different markets.
Build and ship one global device variant, then assign the appropriate local connectivity profile after deployment.
Aeris Single SKU eSIM reduces the need for market-specific hardware variants.
Policy-based orchestration selects and manages profiles as devices enter different markets.
Aeris IoT Accelerator provides one management layer across supported operator relationships.
Manage connected estates through common policies
Large connected estates can become difficult to manage as operators, markets and device requirements multiply.
Apply consistent connectivity policies across device fleets while adapting profiles and connectivity as conditions change.
Define fleet-level rules for profile selection and lifecycle actions.
Use local profiles where appropriate without changing the overarching management model.
Maintain a common view across connectivity operations in Aeris IoT Accelerator.

Use SGP.32 alongside existing SGP.02 and SGP.22 deployments.
Keep learning. Keep evolving. Keep moving forward.
SGP.32 is the GSMA standard for remote eSIM management in IoT. It is designed for devices that may operate without a user, screen or practical way to swap a physical SIM after deployment. It enables remote profile management through an eSIM IoT remote Manager, or eIM.
SGP.02, the earlier M2M eSIM standard, was developed primarily for machine-to-machine deployments such as automotive and is more complex to implement. SGP.22 uses a newer architecture for consumer devices but assumes a person is available to activate a profile. SGP.32 builds on that newer architecture for unattended IoT devices and adds remote management through the eIM.
Aeris eSIM Orchestrator (formerly eSIM Hub) is the orchestration layer on Aeris IoT Accelerator for managing eSIM profiles and connectivity policies across operators, markets and device fleets. With SGP.32, it uses policies and events to determine which local profile a device holds, when it downloads, what it’s permitted to do and what happens when something fails.
Aeris has expanded Aeris eSIM Orchestrator with support for the SGP.32 IoT eSIM specification, Aeris Single SKU eSIM and Aeris eIMaaS. These capabilities build on an environment that already supports SGP.02 and SGP.22 and give customers one connection to a community of 30 operators across all three eSIM generations.
Instead of managing connectivity one device at a time, you define policies and events for how connectivity should behave across a fleet. Those rules can automate profile selection, downloads, permissions and lifecycle actions, including how the system responds when conditions change or something fails.
Aeris IoT Accelerator is Aeris’ global IoT connectivity management platform, which provides customers access to a community of 30 operators. It manages 110 million IoT devices for more than 7,000 enterprises. Devices in the Aeris footprint attach in more than 200 countries every month.
Aeris IoT Accelerator manages 44 million eSIM-based devices, more than 40 percent of its 110 million device installed base. That compares with roughly 12 percent eSIM penetration in the broader market.
Customers connect to Aeris IoT Accelerator once for access to a community of 30 operators with pre-integrated support across SGP.02, SGP.22 and SGP.32. Around 70 percent of device attachments are on a partner’s own network rather than roaming, supporting local connectivity across global deployments.
The eSIM IoT remote Manager, or eIM, is a component introduced with SGP.32 for remotely managing eSIM profiles on IoT devices. It enables profiles to be downloaded and activated without requiring a user to interact with the device.
Aeris eIMaaS is a fully managed eSIM IoT remote Manager integrated into Aeris IoT Accelerator that provides a turnkey solution for SGP .32 profile switching. Customers can alslo bring their own eIM of choice from leading eSIM vendors, including Thales, G+D, Kigen and IDEMIA.
Aeris Single SKU eSIM enables an OEM to manufacture and ship one device variant globally, then assign the appropriate local connectivity profile after deployment. This can reduce the need to create separate device variants for different operators or markets.
Aeris can use local SIM profiles while maintaining a common management and orchestration model across a device fleet. That allows OEMs and enterprises to localize connectivity after deployment. Roaming can still be part of an IoT strategy, but SGP.32 creates another way to use local profiles as deployments expand across markets.
Physical AI systems such as autonomous vehicles, industrial robotics and smart infrastructure need connectivity that can adapt as devices move across markets, networks and stages of deployment. Policy-based eSIM orchestration reduces dependence on manual reconfiguration by allowing profiles and connectivity policies to be managed remotely as conditions change.
Aeris IoT Watchtower provides optional network-level security through Aeris IoT Accelerator. As profiles move across supported operators, a device’s security posture can follow its SIM profile within the Aeris platform environment.
Aeris eSIM Orchestrator supports customers who bring their own eIM from Thales, G+D, Kigen or IDEMIA.
The service is designed for mobile network operators (MNOs), OEMs and enterprises. MNOs can make network profiles available through the Aeris ecosystem. OEMs can deploy global device programs and localize connectivity after deployment. Enterprises can manage connected estates through a common set of policies and a common view.
Yes. Support for SGP.32 is available now in Aeris eSIM Orchestrator on Aeris IoT Accelerator.
Aeris IoT Accelerator’s scale and eSIM maturity have earned consistent industry recognition. Frost & Sullivan recognized Aeris as a Global Competitive Strategy Leader for IoT connectivity management in 2025 and 2026, while Counterpoint Research named Aeris an industry leader in its 2026 eSIM orchestration report.
