Kaleido Intelligence, a leading connectivity market intelligence and consulting firm, today unveiled its 2023 Connectivity Vendor Hub research. Kaleido’s 2023 Connectivity Vendor Hub research analyzed 60 different product offerings from 40 leading cellular IoT connectivity service providers across three categories: Connectivity Management Platforms (CMP), eSIM connectivity services and eSIM Subscription Management services. Aeris, the IoT SaaS leader, is pleased to announce that we received a “High-Flyer” rating in the Connectivity Management Platform category.
According to Kaleido, the acquisition of Ericsson’s IoT Accelerator and Connected Vehicle Cloud business units in March 2023 helped solidify Aeris as “one of the key global players” in the automotive and transportation verticals. Additionally, Kaleido highlighted the strength Aeris gained in cellular IoT security. The firm noted Aeris’ focus on “providing end-customers with a significant level of transparency and control over SIM communications,” set Aeris apart from its competition.
“Aeris’ in-house (cellular IoT security) offering is capable of analyzing data IP targets, DNS usage in addition to other network events, which are then processed via machine learning algorithms to determine if there are any potential security threats, as well as organize threats into categories –such as malware,” Kaleido wrote in its overview.
